One For All is a fierce gender-bent retelling of the Three Musketeers. Lainoff crafts a stunning tale full of adventure and found family that will be sticking with me. It’s heartwarming, strong, and empowering. Highly recommend!
This Fierce Blood is compelling and beautiful. It is a multigenerational saga that captures the beauty, difficulty, and importance of merging and growing cultures. It clashes and it mends relationships across generations and cultures in a thoughtful and lovely way. It’s absolutely stunning.
Ophelia After All is a beautiful book of self-discovery, questioning, friendship, and support systems. It’s a warm hug to anyone who has ever questioned anything about their identity and I can’t help think about how lucky we are that books like this exist. It is absolutely stunning.
I have never read a book that felt like it was reading into my soul in the same way that Portrait of a Thief did and I absolutely recommend it to every single person. This book is a stunning way to start to understand some of the Asian diaspora experience and I cannot wait to hold my copy in my hands. Thank you so much, Grace Li, this book spoke directly to my soul.
The Reckless Kind if a delightfully cozy book full of heart and love. It’s so easy to fall in love with Asta, Gunnar, and Erland with how deeply they care for each other and how much care Heath clearly put into these characters. A perfect book to read for cold winters!
The Blood Trials is an ambitious debut by N.E. Davenport that had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and constantly guessing. This story beautifully tackles some difficult themes that resonated with me deeply, and imagined a main character that I fell in love with.
